A few years ago I was the guest at a particular church, leading worship and doing a few of my songs. I sang “Remember” – which is about communion, the bread and the wine. I talked a little about the cross and the blood of Christ as I usually do when I perform that song.

After the service, I was talking with people at my CD table and there was a lady waiting to speak with me. She was very emotional and was having trouble holding back tears. She told me that, in all her years at that church, she couldn’t remember anyone ever talking about the blood of Jesus.

I said, “so why are you still here?”

I didn’t realize that one of the pastors was standing behind me when I said that. Funny how they’ve never invited me back… (continue reading…)

We’re so excited to report that my current single – “I Will Stand (The Solid Rock)” – has just broken onto the Billboard Soft AC/Inspirational Top 20! It also has debuted at #19 this week on the Christian Music Weekly chart. You can check it out on iTunes (click below) to hear the song and download a copy for yourself.

I filmed a quick personal message to Christian Radio stations about my new single “I Will Stand (The Solid Rock)” – which is on the verge of breaking onto the Billboard and CMW Inspirational Charts. The song has been on the Billboard “Most Added Songs” list for 3 weeks running. If your local station is playing it, please thank them for me!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share some news with you; my new single is “I Will Stand (The Solid Rock)“ and it’s on Billboard’s “Most Added” list for the 2nd week in a row. It’s also “Most Increased Plays” – and it looks like it will break the Top 20 next week!

So how about those New Year’s resolutions? By now you know whether or not you’re going to stick with that new diet or Bible reading program or budget. It’s not hard to say the words “I’m going to CHANGE!” It’s a completely different thing to actually do it, though.
